The first Londonbeat studio album:
We wrote and recorded Speak in George Chandler's spare bedroom. It won us a tour supporting Bryan Ferry, successfully launching the band in Europe.
“9 am”, my all-time favorite LB song is here, as is “There’s A Beat Going On”. Enjoy! (JH)
In The Blood
Our 2nd studio LP, “In The Blood” high-lighted the chemistry between our three-part harmonies, and Willy Henshall’s quirky guitar. Add the pop-gospel lead vocals, and the unique Londonbeat sound emerges.
“I’ve Been Thinking About You”, “A Better Love”,
“No Woman, No Cry” ...
When Love is In The Heart, The Beat is In The Blood… (JH)
Studio LP number three, Harmony was the last lp with the original line-up.
This was our experimental effort, exploring our American Indian heritage.
Here you’ll find “You Bring On The Sun”… Keeping The Memories Alive”…
There are hidden gems here. Give a listen… (JH)
This, our fourth LP, was our first LP after George Chandler was no longer in the band. “Come Back” was a hit from this album.
Back In The Hi-Life
This album marks Londonbeat's return to the recording studio.
New line-up, new record deal, new songs!
This LP has the hit "Where Are U?”.
Check out the video, the lady therein is from Kazachkstan.
Thank you KZ, you opened up a whole new world for Londonbeat.
The 6th Londonbeat album Featuring a batch of new songs. Heaven, Jump in My Ride
This was our second album on Coconut Records.
At Coconut, we must’ve written and recorded enough songs for 4 LP’s.
We’re planning to revisit the best of those songs, re-word them and release them.
